1 20-3 Chauffeuring the Fat Kid Laughing straight to the bank. Ah ha ha haaaa.
3 16-4 Pure Filth Did crazy well in the prelims, going 10-2 with a 34 cup differential, then backed it up by coming oh so close to the fifty grand (winner's bracket final).
t7 15-2 Team Kobe Dominated an unfortunately SCBP heavy draw in the prelims, going 12-0. After winning two straight in the final 32, the well ran dry against We Run New York. Kobe regrouped to beat Shawn2, but could not fend off a hot Dixie Normous team. Nightmares of Maryland continue.
t17 13-5 50% Played solidly all week, starting with a crowd pleasing win over defending champs We Own Your Face at Tight Rack.
t25 12-4 Silence Expectations ran high in the Silence clubhouse. After a heart-wrenching game 1 loss looked to dampen their spirits, they rattled off 10 wins in their last 11 prelim games. They then took care of business on day 3, and made the final 32, but crapped out before coming close to the money.
t25 12-7 Wet Bandits Confident from their WSOBPII performance, the WBs hit milestone #1 by making the final day. A day 3 run of 4 wins in 5 games helped them hit milestone #2, making the final 32. Intoxication and a sense of accomplishment set in, and they would go on to lose their next two, getting knocked out by Smashing Time.
t33 10-5 Team Beirut A solid 9-3 prelim record gave them a bye for day 3. After winning one round, they had a chance to knock out eventual 4th place finishers We Run New York. Apparently they used up their mojo for defeating juiced up NY teams the previous day when playing Our Balls... Your Cup.
t33 10-5 White Men Can't Pong Our 12/1 winner's bracket finalists ran into Pure Filth in the best 2/3 round. Another case of tough luck.
t33 10-6 Two Days of Practice No expectations could be made for a team that decided to play at the last minute. Their magic ended in the best 2/3 round against the WSOBPI 3rd place team Zack & Screech.
t57 9-4 Freight Train Their 9-3 prelim record was solid, but somewhat lackluster as it included a couple of wins that took longer than was expected to close out. Unfortunately, the co-founder's less-than-stellar-first-game-of-the-day-at-the-World-Series game came out in a single elimination round.
t57 9-4 Cobras Solid performance. A 9-3 prelim record (including an always respectable loss to Team Kobe) gave them a bye for day 2, but their efforts fell short.
t57 9-4 Shred the Gnar Was forced to play Team Kobe in the prelims, then ran into a hot Wet Bandits team in round 2 of day 3. Random draws can be a bitch.
t81 8-5 Re-Squeening the Hod The partner realignment got the Hod to the final day, but luck ran out in the first round.
125 7-5 Douchebag Patrol This year's poster child for the downside to cup differential. Almost got into the day 3 action with a 7-5 record, but didn't have a high enough cup differential.
144 6-6 G'd Up A disappointing finish. It's kind of weird too. One would think that going hard for 5 days in Vegas before the World Series would be a good way to train for the World Series.
148 6-6 Beat Down Team Class is what I like to call these two (apparently they did not make a team take a forfeit when given the option - and let the late opponent play).
187 5-7 Cuddle My Nuts With one teammate just now making the transition from caps to beer pong, five wins is definitely respectable.
252 3-9 Poo Flinging Hooligans The opposite approach of gunslinging Alex and carefully aiming Kendal netted them only 3 wins, but I can't imagine them not having a ton of fun in the process.
275 2-10 Tits 'n Giggles After going 0-6 on day 1, they had a team up 8 cups to 2. Watching from afar, we saw the crowd go nuts and thought, "Oh good - they hit the last cup." But with Katie still lining up to shoot it turned to, "Oh crap - that was just the 2 cup." Then the crowd went extra nuts - game over.

Teams ranked 57-104 played in the first single elimination round. The winners of those games played teams ranked 33-56 in another single elimination round. The winners of those games played a best 2/3 series against teams ranked 9-32. The winners of those series joined the top 8 division winners in the final 32 double elimination tournament.
