SCBP Satellite Champs #3

50% took down runners up Pure Filth in thrilling matches in both the winner's bracket final, and the tournament final. They become the third SCBP team to win their way to the World Series of Beer Pong, with a shot to win $50,000. Sign-ups for the World Series are open through December 3rd. While you don't need to win a satellite tournament to attend the World Series, SCBP has one more opportunity to win your entry fees, on December 1st at El Guapo Cantina.

Sachi and Tristen of 50%

Westcoast Love (a renamed Motagagne) looked to repeat their strong performance from the October 27th satellite. They won their first two games, and combined with a first round bye, found themselves in the semi-final round. They would play 50%, who was a team on a mission.

Pure Filth made the semi-finals in the last satellite, and found themselves there again Wednesday night. They were matched up against Same-siez, an all-girl team who used a flurry of makes to close out a surprised Chauffeuring the Fat Kid team in the previous round. Pure Filth dominated Same-siez to advance to the winner's bracket final against 50%.

In the loser's bracket, both Farfrompewkin' and Beeracudas made impressive runs after early losses, by winning three straight games. Getting sent to the losers bracket after losing to Pure Filth, Same-siez played Cobras. With the full support of the crowd, Same-siez first came back to hit a clutch redemption shot, then went on to win in overtime. In their second SCBP tournament, Cobras have two fifth place finishes.

Chauffeuring the Fat Kid won four straight in the losers bracket, the last of which included a very intense rematch with Same-siez, who almost once again caught Chauffeur/Fat Kid off guard. They would go on to face Pure Filth for the opportunity to take on 50%, but the home field advantage was dirty - as insults, distractions, and everything in between was thrown at whomever was playing Pure Filth. Pure Filth backed up their crowd by nailing shots, sending C.t.F.K. home once again without the top prize.

In the final match, it appeared as though the distractions were getting to 50%, and that Pure Filth would at least force a second game. With the game at 1-3 and the distractions at a maximum level, 50% hit three straight shots, deafening the crowd and forcing a redemption shot that proved elusive, taking home the World Series entry fees.
