Corona WSOBP VI Satty - Recap

SCBP teamed up with On The House for an afternoon WSOBP VI Satellite Tournament at Austin's paradoxically HD-less Sports Grill in Corona (no HD for the US-Ghana game). With 44 teams signed up, and no mic, it looked to become an afternoon of multiple people losing their voices.

A few highlights of the event:
- 2 girls (Women Be Shopping) nailing 3 straight redemption shots to send a game against Sessions into OT - Mike Wan doing his best possible Tiger Woods impersonation
- A fantastic mustache
- An epic game from Bako's Zakless, with OT captured on video
- A set of falling-just-short runs through the loser's bracket from Norcal's Cup Check and IE's El Nino, who won 6 and 5 games straight respectively
- A couple new teams making really deep runs: 2 Guys, 1 Cup and Suck My Balls

In the winner's bracket final, first timers AC/BC did not have enough to take on My Giant. A loser's bracket semi-final got interesting as usual teammates faced one another (Castro and Fat Kid), 3/4 players engaged in some non-stop shit talking (Castro, Fat Kid, and Wattenberg), and all 4 players (add in Brandon) forgot how to hit cups. Playing as Your Chin Looks Like an Ottoman for My Nuts,Fat Kid and Wattenberg prevailed, then took out AC/BC to make it to the final. They weren't a match for Gheorghe Muresan, who got extra juicy and danced his way to the set of bids, carrying Billy Crystal by his side.
