Canes Farewell - 11/1/09

Canes has been an SCBP favorite venue since our first tournament there in June of '06. Due to circumstances out of their control, we are sad to report that Canes is closing it's doors on November 2nd. We couldn't sleep at night thinking that we didn't give Canes a proper goodbye, so we set up one last tournament. Given the weekend Halloween festivities, we will be starting a little later than usual. Any team wearing a costume gets a pitcher on us.¹ We will also have prizes (tbd) for the best costumes.

When:	Sunday, November 1, 2009 Registration: 1:00 pm Play Begins: 2:00 pm
Where:	Canes 3105 Ocean Front Walk Mission Beach, CA
Prizes:	- Grand Prize: Entry to WSOBP V2 (value: $1,100) - 2nd: 1503 - 3rd: 503 Best Costume (tbd)
Structure:	- 40 teams max - Two person teams - Double elimination - Random seeding - Byes assigned based on sign-up order
Beer:	Beer is not included with entry fee. $10 Domestic Pitchers
Cost:	All-Guy Team: $30 online ($40 at door) Co-Ed or All-Girl Team: $20 online ($30 at door) Sign Up Online - Space is Limited

Register:	Online registration is closed, but there are plenty of available spots. Show up to Canes at 1:30pm.

• ¹ Must be a legit costume. SCBP co-founders will be the judges and jury.
• ² World Series of Beer Pong V will be held in Las Vegas on January 1-5, 2010. The cost currently is $550 per person, with the cost going up in October. You can find more info at BPONG.COM. You do not have to win a satellite Tournament to enter.
• ³ 1st Place is guaranteed. 2nd & 3rd payouts are pending the turnout.
• WSOBP Rules governs play
• Games are played on WSOBP regulation tables, using WSOBP regulation cups (both from bpong.com)
• Tournament games are played with water cups
• Must be 21+ to Enter
