November Satellite Series - Week 3

Monday - 11/17/08
Training Day broke through in the Monday night series, beating the crap out of Too Good For A Name, twice. They met in the first round, and then in the finals, after Too Good fought their way back with 6 straight wins. Meg's Always Right featured our first girl qualifier, something we hope to see more of in week 4. Harold and Kumar quietly slipped into 4th place.

Tuesday - 11/18/08
In Huntington, We Hit Random Cups gave Mike a birthday celebration worth remembering, upsetting winner's bracket finalists Wet Bandits with two straight wins in the final, and making amends for his 2nd place finish the night before. Tokin' Smokin' Couple finished in 3rd place after outlasting Kobe & Co., the same result for the 2nd time that evening, despite a generic claim weeks earlier from Bryan that he'd never lose to the same team twice (with the exception of the two losses in the WSOBP II final tournament vs. the New England Steelers). Cheers to Mayra and Kerrie for becoming the second and third girl qualifiers.

Thursday - 11/20/08
Schitzweak prevailed twice over Kim Bong Il in the finals, after losing to them in the winner's bracket final. Lodge West made up for a miserable Tuesday night performance to take 3rd place. Brick City threw up just enough non-bricks to qualify with a 4th place finish. Chad and Eric both qualified for the second time that week.
