November Satellite Series - Week 2

Monday - 11/10/08
Congrats to qualifiers Chauffeuring Professor Dickweed (4th place) and the Ryan/Troy version of Schitzweak (3rd) who both dropped their first games and then each rattled off 5 straight wins to qualify. The finals evolved into a civil war or sorts, with members of the red hot Team Beirut pitted against each other. Tarek and Sean (normally of Yugoslavian Pancakes) lived up to their name, Let's Just Qualify, and lost in the finals to Dan and Bryan (normally of Team Kobe), who played as School in the Summer Time.

Tuesday - 11/11/08
In Huntington, Pure Filth redeemed a week of ridicule from their buddies (who qualified in week 1 when they did not). They finished business by taking home the $100, beating Electric Feel Your Mom. G'd Up hasn't been on the scene much this year, and stepped right in to take one of the top 4 spots. Team Beirut was the 4th team to qualify.

Thursday - 11/13/08
Dan and Tarek of Team Beirut were denied their third qualifier of the week, finishing in 5th place after dropping a heartbreaker to Here to Lose, who later went on to take down local favorite and first time qualifier Cobra Kai (4th place). After some car problems on the 405, Lodge West was forced to dropped 1/2 a Jew and picked up 1/2 a Mormon to finish in second place as Half Mormon, All Man. But in the final, they were no match for a hot Fat Kid who shot 7 for 8 and carried Andy and And Boom Goes the Fat Kid [reference @ 2:15] to the victory. This was Andy's second qualifier of the week with a member of Chauffeuring the Fat Kid. I guess it pays to partner up with WSOBP champs.
