Barfinder's Redemption

The HB Series final bracket definitely turned a few heads. After two rounds, most or all of the Las Vegas Oddsmaker favorites had been sent to the loser's bracket. Week 1 winner Sachi & Eric lost to Psyche Juice in the first round, when Psyche Juice hit 10/11 shots. The winners of weeks 2 through 4 all lost in round 2. Pure Filth lost to Under Pressure, We Hit Random Cups fell to a 5th place play-in team - 50%, and Week 4 winner Scott & Boston lost to Electric Feel Your Mom.

A couple teams that finished in 2nd place at a qualifier did not fair too well either. Week 3 #2 Wet Bandits fell to Psyche Juice in a match where saran wrap covered each team's last cup. Team Kobe & Electric Feel Your Mom also both lost to 50%.

Pure Filth tore through the loser's bracket, beating Kobe, Wet Bandits in OT, Electric Feel Your Mom, and We Hit Random Cups. Their rally would end against the Barfinder crew, who beat Pure Filth to face Psyche Juice. They were able win two close games, completing the unexpected victory from the play-in round.

Barfinder has put on some good tournaments of their own this year, and it was only fitting for Bob and Tristan to take down an SCBP satellite.

Meanwhile, in the side tournament, Sam & Brad and Angelina & Maddox found their way to the winner's bracket final, with Angelina prevailing. The Cocksmen, who lost to the Yugo Pancakes in the first round, fought their way back to the final match - avenging the round 1 loss on the way, but fell short against Angelina & Maddox.
