2nd Annual Thanksgiving Open Recap

The legendary Chauffeuring The Fat Kid, winners of WSOBP III but yet to break through on the SCBP circuit, split up for Wednesday night's Thanksgiving Open. Jeremy paired up with Eric C. as All Day with Mike and his brother Ace playing as All Night. Eric's Moon Kittens partner Mike played with Scott from Scott & Boston (who could not even put their names together to come up with something besides Team Name Nothing). All three teams looked to pad their resumes with a satellite win.

All Day took down Team Kobe and Team Beirut in rounds 3 and 4. Team Name Nothing had bad team name karma as they lost to Hey There Sasquich in the 4th round. Sasquich previously took down Pure Filth, another consistent contender. White Rice and G'd Up completed the winner's bracket final four.

G'd Up almost got their full swagger back, making it to the winner's bracket final. They could not hold off Jeremy and Eric though, and then fell to Team Beirut, who almost made another memorable run (think 11/2). The most consistent players of the day though, Jeremy and Eric, took home the title, and the satellite codes.

Fat Kid & Eric of the 11/26 Champion All Day

Team Beirut had the longest losers bracket run, as they lost to All Day, then beat Team Truzie, Team Name Nothing, White Rice, Pure Filth, and G'd Up to make the finals... an impressive run by any measure. Truzie had won 4 in a row before playing Beirut, as had Pure Filth. Beauty & The Bitch and Starsky & Clutch also put together impressive 4 win runs in the losers bracket.
