11/22 Long Beach Satellite Recap

With all due respect to the recent historical presidential election, race relations took a huge leap forward Saturday afternoon at the Long Beach Blue Cafe. Mike and Eric have only been on the competitive beer pong circuit for a few action packed months, but only time (and racism) were holding them back from capturing 1st place at a satellite tournament. Congrats to both for their break through victory playing as Moon Kittens, as they convincingly beat Logo & The Fat Kid in the winner's bracket final, and then again in the final. Congratulations especially to Mike for becoming the Jackie Robinson of SCBP tournament winners.

With only 48 teams, the schedule was a little less hectic than a typical Saturday tournament, allowing for a more relaxed environment. Upsets were ripe and titties were flying. Flippy Biscuit lost their first game, but used a magical push up bra to propel themselves all the way to a 4th place finish. Don't Stop Staring at Our Rerack, another all-girl team, also lost their first game, then won 6 straight before falling to eventual 3rd place finishers Pure Filth. Team Radical took the practical way to the money spot, winning 4 straight in the winner's bracket, before stumbling twice.
