October 30th WSOBP Satellite Tournament Recap

With only 16 teams, and two of those teams being girl teams, there was some testosterone flowing Thursday night. Baked Goods, a new pairing featuring half of Pure Filth, had about 1,233,278,903,091 1-2-3 hand slaps with 109,132,843,083 times shouting "Let's Go!". They kept up the intensity from start to finish. Cup Our Balls, perhaps out of frustration that no one was taking their team name literally, started stroking themselves as a distraction. The Moon Doggy of OMG It's In Ft. a Moon Doggy had some sh*t to talk while Mywicky caught on to the act and started returning the favor to whomever they were playing.

The night started precariously as In 3 Hours..., the 3-time qualifier winner and top seed, dropped their first match against 5th place play-in qualifiers Lodge West. It was a tough draw for In 3 Hours..., but they were not alone. Dreamy Dreamboat, the other team to win a qualifier, and a group of previous SCBP tournament winners, 50%, Dog Box, and Slyfidel, were all part of the round 1 casualties. Mywicky, another previous tournament winner, dropped their 2nd round game.

Slyfidel would redeem themselves slightly, winning 4 straight games in the loser's bracket. Mywicky overcame tough odds, putting together a 3-cup redemption and OT victory against 50%, pulling out a 1-cup victory against Cup Our Balls, and had another stomach-punch 2-cup redemption and OT win against Slyfidel.

Baked Goods came to play, as Dustin and David went on countless 3-cup runs, beating multiple teams by at least 5 cups. They overpowered Cup Our Balls in the winner's semi-finals, then OMG It's In Ft. A Moon Doggy in the winner's final. Mywicky, won 5 straight in the loser's bracket to make it all the way to the tournament finals, but ran out of steam, letting Baked Goods run away with the satellite coupons.
