October 11th WSOBP Satellite Tournament Recap

Congrats goes out to Team Kobe for coming home with the satellite victory on Saturday at the Blue Cafe in Huntington Beach. They beat a number of teams with high talent levels, including previous satellite winners Team America, central California spoilers Shred the Gnar in a highly entertaining game, Las Vegas spoilers Kick Rocks CEOs, and SCBP up-and-comers The Moon Doggys. The Moon Doggy's fought their way to the finals after losing in the winner's bracket quarter finals to Team Beat Down. They had an impressive 5 game run in the losers bracket, beating Pure Filth, Team America, Shred the Gnar, Team Beat Down, and Kick Rocks CEOs. They almost forced a 2nd finals match against Kobe, but their comeback bid fell just short. Kick Rocks CEOs has found a way to come in 3rd at three different tournaments now, each time losing in the winner's bracket final, then falling in the loser's bracket final.
