Distractions
While shot distractions are some of our favorite parts of the game, I think we can all agree it's not cool when spectators are screaming in your ear while you shoot. We're not saying spectators can't distract, just that they should do it from the other end of the table (like the teams do).
Here's our proposed new spectator distraction rule:
"Distractions are allowed as long as the person’s entire body is behind the edge of the table (including hands). This rule applies to spectators as well. Non-game participants standing next to the table may not distract a shooter in any way, unless they too are behind the edge of the other end of the table."
Important to realize that "distractions" only apply when a team is shooting. Cheering and heckling after shots will forever be encouraged.

bounces
bounces should also be worth 2 cups and opposing team can swat the ball from making it in the cup......
eh
maybe... but probably not
Bleedinblue: I couldn't agree with you more.
Bouncing is accepted in nearly every neighborhood beerpong match across the country. And there is good reason for that...It's freaking fun.
Bouncing adds another dimension to the game that not only elevates it to the next level, but simply makes the game that much more interesting.
There are now teams with great shooters and great bouncers. With the good bouncers, there are then players that are great defenders. Bounces make for a more diverse game with more chances for comebacks. Beer Pong without bouncing is like basketball without three pointers, or football without the forward pass.
I deeply respect and encourage what SCBP is doing with these organized tournaments. However, I would hope that someday they accept that bouncing is a legitimate skill, and elect to include bouncing as a legal play in their future tournaments. Or at least try a pro bouncing tournament in an area that whole heartedly accepts the time honered bounce. (West LA/Santa Monica)
