2009 Spring League - Week 2

League is on break this coming Sunday. We will reconvene on April 19th.

Week #2 found quite a few new teams showing up (as expected). We welcome to the league, Brawndo Doyers, Sammy (who'll hopefully rename his week #2 moniker), Maji Maji, and some familiar faces in Brangelina, War Kittens, and Flippy Biscuit. Oddly enough, a bunch of week #1 participants were absent. So despite the influx of new talent, we had the same number of teams (23). RJ & Alexis of the War Kittens played an extra series to catch up, ending with the only perfect record on the night at 12-0, with 16 points. The Cocksmen shot well again, but this time their record reflected it (8-1, 11). Strength of schedule can be a bitch... as Mike & Sammy and Starsky & Clutch both shot about 42%, but ended up losing twice as many games as they won. When looking at individual stats for week #2, the thing that is most eye catching is the number of teammates that ended up shooting almost exactly the same. The Cocksmen ended up at #2 and #3 individually for the week. Hey There Sasquitch had two attempts separating Derek and Brandon, with relatively the same outcome, putting them at #8 and #9 for the week. Amy & Kendal of Beer Pong Junkies (Remix) had just a few more attempts separating them, but similarly ended up right next to each other in the standings. Let's hear it for teammate love.
