2008 Spring League - Week 7

With a few teams absent, there was some movement at the top of the standings. Team Beirut, The Super Vlads, and Wet Bandits played a little three team round robin. Beirut swept all three games from the Vlads, then got swept by the Bandits, who then later got swept by the Vlads (which doesn't quite make sense, but happens sometimes). With one week of the regular season left, the Vlads have a 1/2 point lead over Pure Filth with both teams needing to play 4 series in week 8. The Bandits have a 1.5 point lead over Beirut with both teams only playing 2 series in week 8. The last two money spots are currently held by Twins! and We Shit On Donkeys, who need to play each other at least once in week 8. Eiffel Tower had a great week, winning 7 out of 9 games, and taking all but 1/2 of the 3 cup differential points. The Hustlettes (a.k.a. Sausage Wallets) played well in 2 series, winning 4 out of 6, and jumping into a tie with Flippy Biscuit.

Week 7 Team Results

Jaime from Flippy Biscuit joined the I-Shot-Sixty-Percent-For-A-Single-Game club, peforming that feat twice in week 7. Repeaters were Dan (3), Hill (2), Jermane, Jaime (2), Brent, Dustin (2), Jessica (2), Bryan (7), Kyle, and Peter (5). Ryan (+12%) had the best week in comparison to his previous overall percentage, with Dan (+8%), Kendal (+5%), Kyle (+5%), and Katie (+5%) also having really good weeks. The top two overall spots got a little tighter with Peter shooting a couple relatively poor games, and Bryan shooting lights out for 2 percentage point swing.
