2008 Spring League - Week 5

Team Beirut lost only one game in week 5, moving back up to the 2nd spot in the overall rankings. Their only loss came in game 1 against Cherries on Top. In game 3, Amy hit the last cup with 2 of Beirut's left on the table, but Tarek and Dan hit the two redemption shots, then won in OT. Among other top teams, Twins lost their only two games of the night to the Wet Bandits, while Pure Filth kept their #1 ranking taking two of three really close games against the Bandits, and one 4OT game against Mad Crazy SKills (or Mad Crazy Lame as Lolo put it). The Hustlettes lost three close games to the uber-competitive Whitehorse, who moved up a few valuable spots in the standings. The big losers of the night were The Super Vlads, who temporarily dropped 4 places by not showing up.

On the individual side of things, Kerrie stepped it up big time, shooting 18% over her previous average. Adam and Brent also had tremendous weeks, shooting 15% and 16% better than their previous averages. Amy, Laura, and Veronica had very good weeks, shooting between 6% and 7% better. Peter, Cory, and Jake had the worst weeks, each shooting at least 5% worse than their previous average. New members to the 60% game club were Jermane, Veronica, and Kerrie (3). Repeat offenders were Dan, Tarek, Brent (5), Dustin (3), Adam (5), Cory, Peter (4), Tyler (Whitehorse), and Tyler (Mad Crazy).
