Campytime Details:
The location is Silverwood Lake. You can make your reservations by clicking this link http://www.reserveamerica.com/camping/map_of_Silverwood_Lake_Sra/r/campg... and choosing one of the sites (68-78 preferably). You will enter Feb. 19th as the arrival date. Length of stay is 2. It is $35 a night (you don't have to stay both nights) and ends up being $78 total for both nights with the $8 reservation fee. You can have up to 8 people at a site (but only two cars), so it may be as little as $10 a head for both nights. I have site 73, you can see this by noticing how it is colored brown, meaning reserved, as opposed to blue, meaning available. You can read specific information about Silverwood Lake here http://www.reserveamerica.com/camping/Silverwood_Lake_Sra/r/campgroundDe....
-Anybody who has a cooler would be praised to bring it along. We can get ice at the marina if need be.
-Some people may be lacking in the tent and/or sleeping bag area. If you are one of these people, please use the forum to look for providers. As of now I have a few open spots in my tent and I'm sure others will as well. It shouldn't be too cold. I slept up in Yosemite in pretty chilly weather with just a comforter before, so don't be afraid to do that for lack of a better option (remember that you can adjust the temperature you feel by drinking more or less boose...).
-Firewood will most likely be priced up at the marina, so you may want to check out your local grocer to see if they have any. Also, if anybody has any wood or logs (dried out of course) please fell free to bring them. I will be bringing a log splitter just in case.
-I'm not sure how this area is for bugs, but bring long sleeve clothing and maybe some Off™ just in case.
-It will get cold at night so bring a hoodie and some pants. Also, for all you people that have lived here all your life that some of you may only have a stash of sandals, but try to round up a pair of close-toed shoes.
-There are facilities with running water at the lake tooth brushing and whatnot. There are coin-operated (quarter) showers too, though I only expect the woman to make use of these facilities. If a man walks into the shower during the trip, I assure you that he will only be recognized as a woman after exiting. Fair warning.
-There are no lights in the wilderness so bring a flashlight if you have one. I have about a million (give or take 7) that I will be happy to lend out.
-Any external speakers for mp3 players would be good to bring.
They have excellent fishing at Silverwood Lake, including stripers, large-mouth bass, catfish, trout, and crappie. You can get a license at any Wal-Mart. I think it's $20 a day or $80 for the whole year. I have a couple of extra poles too in case anybody wants to give it a whirl. Your choice on getting the license.
It wouldn't suck if a couple of people brought beer pong tables/balls either. I have lights that can be hung from trees for some very-sexy-outdoor-semi-moonlit-beer-pong...
As far as food goes I normally only buy things I can cook over the fire, such as hotdogs, italian sausage, bratwurst, etc...I can only suggest keeping it simple because it can become quite a mess otherwise.
If anybody can think of any other important things that are missing from this very general list, please use the forum to make people aware. If anybody has any more specific questions or concerns that I may be able to help with please feel free to text or call me at (724)272-5943. Leave a message if I don't answer and I'll call you back.
And thank you for posting this on the site Peter/Tyler. Rock.
-Fat Kid

Tourney Time
I'm pretty sure an outdoor tournament will be in effect. Maybe the lakeside campground will have some fish in attendance.
Got Wood?
Hey people instead of buying wood try and find some of the free stuff on craigslist. Someone with a truck should look into this.
Make sure it's aged, the
Make sure it's aged, the wood I mean. Most of the stuff is freshly cut and won't burn, but smolder...
Camping Trip Island style
I got site 71.. so im gonna bust out island style camping.. We're gonna roast a pig and all.. maybe a hawaiian shirt and grass skirts.. hahaha jk.. so ya i was thinking maybe saturday night for dinner we can have like a pot luck... what does everyone think..
Who's going?
Hey Peter, you have a list of who's going to this? I'd like to go, but apparently I'm the only one in the TF so I'd like to tag along with somebody.
Nope
Due to the fact that your avatar is of avatar and no avatars are allowed on the trip, you kendon, can not go. You should just stay at home because there will be people there who have not seen avatar and as per your facebook post you do associate with such people.
I've changed my mind
I've taken back my Facebook post. I mean yeah, it's about to become the most watched movie in the history of the world, but, you guys are right. It probably sucks. No real reason to go see it.
I have extra space in my
I have extra space in my tent Kendon. Let me know if you need a spot. I believe we are maxed out on cars though. Can you catch a ride with someone from LaLa land?
Still
I don't know who you are ieatgybs. I don't mind driving. I'd just like to get an idea of who's going and who has campsites.
That's right...
Oh yeah, haha, this is Fat Kid. Driving's cool, I'm just saying that I don't think I'll have a spot for you to park at at the campsite, so I'm not sure how far away you'll have to park. You only get so many spots per site.
Site Space
I'm not sure who is all going. I know for sure Fat Kid, Kerrie, and I are going to have a blast. If you're on facebook, you know that Reggie is going. The Bako crew is also bringing heads down.
Either way, there is likely to be site space, but as fat kid said, room for cars will be limited.
who got site 68?
Reggie from team Want Samoa aka team hawaii aka coast to coast aka west coast all day
well who got it?
Ruin them
Probably some sweet Christian family with children.
